Advertlets Problem Again, Is It Due to Edison Scandals?
Today, again, Advertlets is causing problem loading of Jialat dot Com. I have lost counts already. I keep faith with Advertlets, and continue serving Advertlets ads after their domain name saga. Things got better right after that and the owner did share with the members that they will upgrade their servers, and system. Though, once a while, the script would still get a bit of problem loading (hence causing the lag of Jialat dotCom), but it was still acceptable.
However, I found the situation gotten worse, since 2 weeks before CNY. The frequency of lagging has been rather high, and the period become longer. It either took long time to load the ads, or it would just show the error code in the ads. One of the code I noticed is “…. exceeds maximum connections”, something like that.
Coincidently, the Edison Chen sex scandals saga surfaced around the same time, and I started following the whole incident and doing whatever following up here. And, it brought me tonnes of visitors, much much more than the period before this. I believe, other blogs that reported on, discussed this incident, or shared the photo links, also benefit from this saga and gained a lots more traffic. And maybe they serve Advertlets ads also.
So, is it this Edison saga, that caused the lag of Advertlets? Do Advertlets need to do something to keep up with the traffics?

you are not the only one, myself and sabrina also same problem.

“Additionally, as compensation for the recent downtime, you will earn an additional 10-20% extra on top of all legit earnings for the month of January. The amount will be calculated at the end of January, and credited within the first week of February”

Notadmin: Regarding the compensation, we are currently compiling the necessary information, however we are doing it in stages to minimize network disruption as server queries are bandwidth intensive. Right now, our priority is on resolve the ad loading time issues as soon as possible.
