My Reply to Advertlets Josh Invitation to KL
This is regarding the comment Josh left on my this post. I requested Josh to hold a Vantage Point screening in Singapore for Singapore based bloggers, similar to the coming one in KL.
Aiyoh, Josh, if I am able to make it to KL during the Vantage Point screening during that time, I will not be asking you to hold one here in Singapore already. You know, we poor bloggers got no car no transport, want to go to KL from Singapore very troublesome one. At least 4, 5 hours gone, one way, return another 4, 5 hours. It is like, I spend about 10 hours on the road, just to attend a , maybe 2 hours screening, kind of silly right? And it make us look so “Eao Gui”.
Josh, I know you got lobang one, hold one here in Singapore!

I know what you mean, I drive down to Singapore quite often. Sometimes I return on the same day. 8-10 hours driving is, crazy. And yes, you’re right, to come all the way down pay using your Cashcard/Autopass at Woodlands/Tuas then toll…then do it again on the way back, understand!
May not be able to do a movie gathering in time for that particular movie, but rest assured that we are looking into having another gathering for Singaporean bloggers. We’re looking into doing something where the bloggers can mingle during/before/after the event as well, so it likely won’t be just a movie. We’re taking feedback! Please let me know what you think. Some of the ideas so far include:
1. Dinner/Food Photoblogging session
2. Coffee gathering
3. Paintball/Futsal
4. Beach Volleyball
5. Clubbing session
6. You name it!
