Questions To Advertlets
I believe a blog post will get me faster reply then an email to info@advertlets.com. Yes, I did send an email last Tuesday regarding 1 of my questions below, and no reply yet.
1. One of my readers from China was actually asking if he is eligible to be a member of Advertlets. He has a blog in Chinese. (I did not go and read all the T&C) I am asking on his behalf, so anyone who knows about this can reply, thanks.
2. I understand that there is a terms from Google AdSense which saying that publishers cannot, in any form, encourage their reader to click on the AdSense ads in their site. I am wondering if Advertlets has similar terms also? The reason being, recently I have came across some blogs with Advertlets ads, and having some “encouraging sentences” just on top of the ads. If there is such terms from Advertlets and the bloggers do not know about it, then maybe Advertlets should inform them to correct it.

This is one blog that I came across. The words on top means “Clicking the advertisement helps you lose calories, and earn money”. (I will come back to the “empty content” in Question 3)

This is another one. The sentence means “I tell you to click!”.
3. Recently, very often I see the Advertlets 336 X 280 Banner ad being empty, blank. I notice it in my blog, I notice it in others’ blog also. It is not constant, but frequent. Examples from my blog:
Using FF
Using IE7
I am wondering if there is anything that need to be done at Advertlets server site?
4. Just checking, my CPM dropped drastically since 14th March. For the first 2 days I saw no advertiser ads but Advertlets’ own ads. After that, I only see the Recruit.Net and Free Rice ad, and sometimes Advertlets’ own ads. There is no more new advertisers? From Advertlets homepage, I saw that they have advertisers like Toyota, Digi, Mediaprima, but I hardly see them nowadays.
I just want to sort out some doubts. I will still support Advertlets becuase it did earn me so good money during the Edison Chen scandals period, kekeke. By the way, hope Advertlets can process my check faster though I only cash out early this month.

Re: point no.3, yeah, I do notice that too. Likewise for the latest ad format 728×90: either empty/not loaded or showing a generic “Advertlets” black banner logo.
Advertlets ad inventory run out oledi…
a_x,

hanneng,
so will u jump shit soon?
Hi all,
1. We are currently only open officially to bloggers in Malaysia & Singapore as the majority of our ads are targeted to those countries, and we can deliver better rates for those from Malaysia & Singapore. However, those who have high traffic or traffic from those countries are welcome to join too. We have had a blogger from China and one from India as well cash out successfully from Advertlets, due to those two having good Malaysian & Singapore traffic.
2. Yes, we have similiar terms, and it is not permitted to ask visitors to click on your ads. Please let us know the blog in question, and we will check if he/she has already been notified.
3. This is a bug that has been fixed, thanks.
4. While we would ideally like to be able to serve high CPM ads all the time, of course, there will be ups and downs. However, there should be earnings everyday from lower value CPM ads (from other countries besides Malaysia & Singapore) as well as CPC ads. Campaign scheduling is also another issue, with most clients opting to run ads at the beginning of the month. However, you should find your earnings increasing again very soon…
Some of you already know about our exclusive partnership with clickTRUE for Advertlets Singapore (clickTRUE is the pay per performance division of HardwareZone, a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings). We have a few campaigns already confirmed to run early next month, including sponsored posts!
Thanks for supporting Advertlets! Btw, did you know that your blog (this one, jialat.com) is in one of the top 100 blogs for Advertets Singapore?
Congratulations!
Josh,
Thanks for you reply. I will email you the urls.
