We Live In FINANCIAL TIMES – Singapore Being Left Out?
Take a look at the picture (click to view enlarged version):

This is the screencaptures from the homepage of FINANCIAL TIME’s recently launched financial news portal, We live in FINANCIAL TIMES. We can see many of the major buildings from most of the major cities in the world, like Commerzbank Tower in Frankfort, Petronas Twin Tower in Kuala Lumpur, IFC 2 in Hong Kong, and ect. I like this idea. It is trying to tell the readers that no matter where it is, it will be under FINANCIAL TIMES.
However, I found something strange. Singapore has been one of the financial hub in SEA or even in Asia Pacific region for many years. But, I could not find any representatives/building from Singapore in the page. For years, Singapore government has labeled Singapore as a financial hub, or has fought to be one, even to overtake Hong Kong to be one. And yet, it seems like Singapore is rather insignificant (even Kuala Lumpur get on the list!)… … Or maybe, it is just because there isn’t any landmark building in Singapore, maybe.
