What if Maia’s baby is not by Zidov…

but by a local guy?

OK, it is what I read from EDMW that interested me. One guy in EDMW said that, there is actually a double standard among the public. People always are more forgiving to Angmohs who fucked around here and maybe got local girls pregnant and left (or maybe remained as “close and good friends”). They think that Angmohs are like that. They are liberal, open, practice casual sex and like to fucked around. And everyone, including the girls, all know about this. So if anyone got herself hooked up with Angmohs, the girl is labeled slut, bitch, sarung-party-girl. And even worse if she got herself pregnant, and the Angmoh went away. People can just LL, or like what PM Lee said “It has already happened, what to do?”. And they will not put too much blames on the Angmohs because they ARE LIKE THAT. So, what to do? Can only LL, suck thumb, sit one corner cry loh, then stand up say “I will keep the baby.”, then everyone will stand behind point here point there busy operating labeling machine making new labels for the soon-to-be mother and yet-to-be-delivered child. What will happen to the Angmoh guys? He can still going around fucking girls, no problem and no one will say anything.

What if the guy is a local? Be it Chinese, Malay or Indian. Let’s say if it is Sly who said that “I am the father of the baby, but we are not together. We are just very close and good friends”. Or maybe not Sly, just any local male celebrities (Zidov also considered celebrities mah), or even just any other local guy. Be assured that local newspapers, tabloids will put the leave a whole space to report this, Wan Bao and Xin Ming Ri Bao will even keep it as frontpage news. And be assured that many people, with justice and morals in their hearts, will call, sms, email to the newspapers to offer their points of view, to condemn the local guy, to offer a helping hand to the poor Maia (I said “if” lah). Many will curse and swear that guy. The guy will be labeled as 负心汉, 人渣, irresponsible, no moral blah blah blah. The girls aunties, uncle, family members may even go to the guys house to demand for justice, responsibility, or at least, money compensations. This is some local version of stories that we often see, isn’t it? And the girl is forever the victim, the party got hurt, the party being sympathized by the public.

So why? Why the difference in treatment? Both are using their dicks to fuck and, fortunately or unfortunately, the sperm manages to find its way to the egg. What’s the difference? Why local guys are always condemned while people seldom say anything about their Angmoh counterpart?

I wonder.
