The Manatees!
No joke! The Florida Marlins, one of the MLB teams, has hired a group of guys to be team’s performing cheerleaders. Many of them are not just guys, but BIG FAT guys! There is a 61 years old in the team who just wants to inspires the young guys. And another 24 years old guy is there taking it as a stepping stone to be a dancer.
It is hard to believe it, even the team members did not believe it initially.
”If they make us keep this up, we won’t qualify for next year’s squad,” he said. “‘I secretly think this is a plan by some TV show to get us to lose weight — you know, `the Marlins reaching out to the community’ or something like that.”
This cheerleading team surely will catch the audience eyeballs initially. However, can they maintain their “unique attraction” for that, it still remains a question.
