She went through pragnancies and abortions multiple times for her senior project
Aliza Shvarts, a Yale art major, had a senior project that most students won’t choose, at least for guys. She was reportedly impregnated herself multiple times and induced abortions on herself for the sake of her senior project. and, she will showcase her display next week, complete with her own blood samples and videos from the terminated possible pregnancies.
Quoted from Yale Daily News, she said:
“I believe strongly that art should be a medium for politics and ideologies, not just a commodity,” Shvarts said. “I think that I’m creating a project that lives up to the standard of what art is supposed to be.”
