Ping.sg-Tiger Airways “Share Your Holiday” Contest

For those who frequent Ping.sg, have you guys seen the yellow yellow banners over there recently? I am talking about this:

The sentence “Win Ticket To ANYWHERE” got me interested since I am considering a short trips to nearby countries with my girl. I was led to this page when I clicked on it.

So it is actually a contest brought to all Ping.sg members, as part of the celebrations of Tiger Airways 4th Anniversary.

OK lah, the “ANYWHERE” actually means “anywhere that Tiger Airways fly to”. But, Tiger Airways is currently flying to quite a few of our neighbouring countries, so it is good enough for me.

It is rather simple to take part in this Ping.sg-Tiger Airways “Share Your Holiday” Contest. We just have to write a blog entry about our most memorable holiday, and ping to Ping.sg, that’s it! Simple right? Best is, it can be a real experience, or fictional. This is the best part. You know lah, most bloggers are good at bluffing one, kekeke. But first of all, one has to be Ping.sg‘s member in order to ping them. This is rather easy.

Someone may be asking now, “if I don’t have a blog, then how?”. The expiry date for the contest is 14th Oct 2008, while today is only 17th Sept 2008. So you have all the time to setup a blog, write something daily, then take part in the contest. However, there is no info on “How old the blog must be at least is” on the page. So for whoever wants to do the above mentioned, please verify with Ping.sg 1st, just in case. The guys there can be contacted by email at outreach@ping.sg.

Other than the set of 2 FREE RETURN tickets, there are also weekly lucky draw prize of SGD50 to be won. every week until 14th Oct 2008. Since there is no limit of the number of entries one blogger can submit as long as each entries are unique and original, maybe you can submit one every week, kekeke.

Actually what makes me happier is that the free tickets are inclusive of airport tax and fees. As a passenger of budget airlines for a few times, I do know that most of the times it is not the air ticket charges but airport tax and fees that makes the jerk up the price.
