£397,500 for a number plate, this is world record.
The historic plate was the first registration number to be issued in Edinburgh and it belonged to a leading pioneer of motoring.
The previous word record was £331,500 for “M1″ (did M1 bid for it? kekeke)
Number plate, to poor guy like me, it is just a number, or maybe another number for Toto or 4D. But to those rich guys, it is an investment, something to represent their social status… See the difference?
