Women out there pay heed, says a STOMPer, who came across this loo at the Speaker’s Corner, and realised to his horror that it was almost see-through.
STOMPer Vassili was appalled.
He recounted:
“We were walking near Hong Lim Park (Speakers’ Corner) at about 10pm today (October 9), when my girlfriend wanted to use the toilet.
“So we went to this outdoor public toilet there and she went into the ladies toilet while I waited outside.
“I was shocked when the minute she entered one of the cubicles in the toilet, I could actually see her silhouette very clearly from outside!
“I immediately yelled from outside to tell her not to use the cubicle and she later told me she couldn’t actually see anything outside when she was inside the cubicle, which means you can only see through the cubicle from the outside.
“She was equally shocked by how this could have been possible, especially when it was a public toilet and people not might not be aware that others can see through the cubicle from the outside.
“So to warn the public, she told me to take these photos, with her in the cubicle, to send to STOMP.
“In fact, you can also see through the male toilet from the outside. The worst thing is that you can see through the cubicles in the toilets, not just the outside of the toilet, and toilet users might probably not be aware of it!
“How could they let this happen?”
