Advertlets, WHERE ARE MY CHEQUES? Part 2
Oct 29, 2008 Blogosphere, Malaysia, Money, Ranting, Singapore
Edited on 13/11/2008: Money received on 12/11/2008, through TT, minus S$10 due to TT service. CASE CLOSED.
More than 1 month after this post, the whole issue is still not resolved yet. I have not received my cheques, my money. Below are my emails communication with them after I penned the whole issue down here. It is me who approached them 1st after waiting for 2 days to see if they would take initiative to reach me. Click to enlarge.

After 1 whole day, no reply, my email again.

Last email on 1st Oct, and what day is it today? 29th Oct, within 20 days? Advertlets, Josh Lim, Jess Ong or whoever, do you need Math teacher to teach you how to count to 20? Or you people happen to discover that your earth rotating the sun slower than normal making it 48 hours a day?
I WANT MY MONEY!
Guys, any suggestion what else I can do? Legal action?

Advertlets also did not reply to my friend. Just like nobody at home. Maybe we should find someone to go to Advertlets office to have a look. ^_^

How about posting this at the stomp forum to help create some “awareness” for advertlets. Maybe they will respond when the press pick up the news “Advertlets is a scam, owing its members months of earnings”.

Wei Peng,
Got into some problem with Adsense……
spBlogger,
I don’t mind if anybody do that. Let me know.
furious,
Good idea, but I seriously doubt that STOMP will allow it. It is SPH’s don’t know what kind of partner in advertising. Will you post anything that makes your business partner look bad?

Hi,
Josh Lim from Advertlets here.
I have been personally following up on your case. We have had a few Singapore cheques lost in the mail (cheques are currently sent from Malaysia), and are looking into intermediary steps to solve the problem in the long term.
Previously we used costly registered mail, however it seems that regular mail will not suffice for reliability of delivery.
As of such, we have escalated the issue and it will be resolved with a direct wire transfer to your account, as noted in the last e-mail sent to you.
For anyone else who has not received your due payment, please let me know and we will expedite it with a direct wire instead of a cheque.
We aim to improve our service further, and are thankful for your feedback.
Regards,
Josh Lim

the image that i have of you as of a greedy money-grabber would probably be improved if your written english was a lot better. the grammar/spelling mistakes made me wince.
