Old Man Trapped Under Sofa, For 2 Days

TERRIFIED Joe Galliott was trapped under his sofa for 2½ days — but survived by sipping a bottle of whisky.
Divorcé Joe, who has a severe back problem, tripped over a phone cord during a power cut and landed on the three-seater which then toppled over on to him.
He lay face down for more than 60 hours before his cries for help were heard.
Joe had no food or water, but could just reach a bottle of whisky he had knocked to the floor during his fall.
