Illegal MP3/Songs Sharing In Local Forum
I am amazed that this is allowed in the forum, which is one of the more popular forums among local youth, teenagers. Take a look (click to enlarge):
It is a thread started by one member, offering others to help searching for the mp3/songs they want, then upload online to share. I tried 2 of the links (those in red box), both are working, not dead yet.
The thread is even made “Sticky” on the main section (click to enlarge):
I don’t frequent this particular forum, happened to come across this thread when I was searching some information using Google.
I know that HWZ is very particular on this issue. Most threads (if not all) that with hyperlinks linking to illegal sharing of mp3, songs, videos will be removed. Users may even get banned for doing that. The administrators of HWZ are doing this because illegal music sharing may get the site/company into deep shit. I do know that users are doing that through Private Message, but this is not something that the administrators can stop effectively.
However, allowing members to share mp3 openly, even making it a Sticky? I feel that, either the admin is really very brave, or naive.
I am not being holy, noble here. My stand is, if you want to do something illegal, do it smartly, don’t give people chance to catch you easily. That is STUPIDx3.
