Join the Association of the Republic of Sinkapore EDMW-ers (ARSE) now! Early Bird Discounts!
ARSE is committed to ‘promoting, protecting, and educating its members’, ‘supporting the development of forum inter-exchange as new media’, and ‘helping to extend the power of the press…to every online citizen.
To join ARSE, an EDMW-er must pay an entrance fee of $50. Ordinary membership is $60 a year and corporate membership, $100 a year.
The fees go towards the association’s operating costs.
Such an organisation would allow to pool resources so that members can upgrade themselves.
ARSE plans to engage external instructors to educate its members on specific topics relevant to EDMW, ranging from legal and ethical issues to creating New Thread templates.
It was not formed with the intention of controlling or regulating EDMW.
ARSE is required to be a legal entity in order for members to have access to certain topics covered, which wouldn’t have been possible if it isnt a registered entity.
ARSE also plans to invite about 30 prominent EDMW-ers to join as Elite members, but declined to name them.
ARSE hopes to get EDMW-ers from across a few categories, such as food, lifestyle, socio-political blogs, photography and so on.
Note: Joining the Durex Membership is separate and entirely up to individual, who is strongly recommended to first join ARSE.
