There’s little doubt that Salma Hayek is a good mom to her 1-year-old daughter, but she’s such a good mom, it seems she’s willing to breastfeed other mothers’ children. The 42-year-old actress tells USA Today that she felt suckling another woman’s newborn was something she had to do while visiting a clinic in Sierra Leone last fall.
“The baby was perfectly healthy, but the mother didn’t have milk. He was very hungry. I was weaning Valentina, but I still had a lot of milk that I was pumping, so I breast-fed the baby,” she says. “You should have seen his eyes. When he felt the nourishment, he immediately stopped crying.”
