England Footballers Help Raise Awareness Of Bowel Cancer

The photo looks a bit scary.

England footballers have ’shown’ their insides in a set of photographs to raise awareness of bowel cancer.

Players including Theo Walcott, Rio Ferdinand, Shaun Wright Phillips, Michael Carrick and David James have all taken part in the campaign for The Bobby Moore Fund.

It was set up in memory of the former England captain, who died from the disease in 1993, aged only 51.

Bowel cancer is the second most common cancer in the UK.

It’s estimated that 44 people die from it each day.
