While celebrating their big day with a lavish ceremony at the city’s Orton Hall Hotel in Orton Longueville yesterday, the devoted parents-of-two also witnessed a numerical wonder which will only fall once in a lifetime.Two years ago Katie (26) chose August 7, 2009 (07/08/09) as her special day and one she hoped her husband would be able to remember for anniversaries to come.
But it wasn’t until days before the marriage ceremony that the pair discovered their magical day would be full of numerical sparkle when they said “I do” at 12:34:56 07/08/09 (123456789) – which was highlighted in The Evening Telegraph on Thursday and picked up by a host of national newspapers the following day.
