Police in Belgium report they’ve caught a one-legged crook.
Shopkeepers called the cops after the shoe was discovered missing.
A police spokesman in the town (Maldegem) says officers quickly found the man who fit the description provided by the store. Officers also found the shoe.
The suspect is a Russian asylum seeker.
The case has now been turned over to local prosecutors.
