Club Med Singapore Helps to Encourage Birth Rate

COUPLES planning to have children next year may want to consider heading to a Club Med resort to conceive.
Besides the obvious fact that its resorts – there are 80 in the world – are relaxing and conducive for baby-making, the Made in Club Med initiative, targeted at couples planning for a child, may now also act as an added incentive.
From Jan 1 till Dec 31, 2010, couples who conceive during their stay at any Club Med resort will have their child accorded a Club Med Kid special status. Club Med will check against the child’s birth certificate to verify the period of conception and will evaluate premature and late births on a case-by-case basis.
Club Med Kids will enjoy free stays at four pre-selected resorts – Bintan, Bali, Phuket and Cherating Beach – till the end of his or her sixth birthday, accompanied by an adult. This is as long as records in Club Med’s system show that their parents stayed in a Club Med resort in 2010, eight to nine months before the child’s birth.
This programme, exclusive to the Singapore market, is open to Singaporeans and those residing in Singapore only, and are valid only through bookings in Singapore.
