Garmin-Asus Live-Navigation Game Is So Fun!
Of course I didn’t win any prize. To be honest, I was the last few to arrive at the last pit stop……
It was basically raining whole day. The game started with an email from the organizer at 1pm sharp. The email said:
I never heard of Banda Street CC. But a simple Google search shows me that it was actually current Kreta Ayer CC. I only knew it was located around Chinatown area. No worries, M20 would lead me there! So my quest started, with bus and MRT…… Actually I was not very slow or late when reached the 1st pit stop. I saw lots of people there, either filling their indemnity forms or struggling with their challenges.
The 2nd clue was trickier, but immediately I knew that it was Mint Museum of Toys. Same thing, I didn’t know where exactly is this museum, and I needed help from M20. By the time I reached there, a lot of participants were busy fixing their puzzles quest. That was the challenge of this pit stop.

I was never good at puzzle, never…… Finally, I got my 3rd clue. This one really got me crazy! What “semi circular terrace”? What Alkaff Mansion? I was really caught by surprise. Even though I could figure out the location of Alkaff Mansion which was at Telok Blangah Green, still, I didn’t have any idea on how I could go about finding the pit stop! I have never been to that place nor I have ever heard of it.
The pit stop was on top of the staircase……
Ended already……
By the time I reached there, I was told by the game helpers that they already closed for the day, all the prizes had been claimed….. So disappointed! I was told that the person who won the Maldives tickets actually hired a cab to drive him all the way. Smart guy you are! And good investment……
I requested to know the other 2 locations of pit stop. I decided to pop over “see see look look” though the game already ended, nothing left for me…… This is the final stop, Fort Canning Centre. The other stop is Red Dot Museum. I didn’t take any photo over there though.
1 lesson learnt: It is very important to have your own transport if you are going to take part in this kind of game, or invest a bit of money to rent a vehicle or hire a cab like the 1st prize winner. Am I going to take part again next year, if there is? Of course, but be smarter!
