Having Problem With Wordpress 2.9
Do you encounter any problem after upgrading to Wordpress 2.9? Seems like, this upgrade is a wrong move for me.
I had no problem during the upgrading from 2.8.6 to 2.9. It was very smooth. And, I actually didn’t notice any problem immediately right after that. But I found something not right days after.
My daily backup is not working. I am using wp-db-backup plugin to back up my blog post, daily. Once the backup is completed, the file will actually be sent to my email. I noticed that there was no backup coming in via email for many days. Asking for help in the author’s forum doesn’t help.
Also, I found that Ping is not working. My new blog post is not ping-ing to Ping.sg like it used to do. It happened only after upgrading to Wordpress 2.9.
After few days of finding, and waiting for fixes, I gave up. I have downgraded Jialat.com back to Wordpress 2.8.6.

yeah, same with me. i got same problem with u. i cant ping my blog after upgrade to WP2.9.
