Those who signed the petition do not deserve to be born human again. They do not know what is gratitude and contentment…even some animals have / know these “in-born” nature moral…GET A LIFE, DO SOMETHING MORE MEANINGFUL, MORONS!
I tend to agree with the petitioner actually. As if we are not already breaking our backs working hard, our esteemed MM tells us we need competiton from outside to wake us up and whip us into shape. We Singaporeans are working harder than ever, yet are faced with lowering wages. Cost of living goes up, yet living standards are going down. Wake up Singaporeans!

C’mon Ken, lighten up lah.
The man expressed his opinion and used metaphorical language.
Your govt doesn’t “owe you” or anyone a “living”. Singapore’s open border policy is an example for other countries to follow.
I am a strong critic of the govt, and have been for decades. But Ken, you do yourself a disservice by over-reacting.
Anyway, the good thing about what you’ve done is you’ve shown BALLS and expressed yourself, and taken the initiative to rally as many to your cause.
On that note: well done.
