Indonesian Hacker Attacker Malaysia Government Website
Due to some stupid argument recently.
PETALING JAYA: The website of the National Institute of Public Administration (Intan) has suffered a cyber attack believed to be by Indonesian hackers.
The website is believed to have been inactive since Monday, 6.54pm as shown on its cached version when checked yesterday.
It had also been violated with profanity.
A minute after the website was accessed, a green cursor trail will appear on the page stating that it had been “hacked by vires-kucrit”.
This is followed by a pop-up referring to the National Day celebration albeit in obscene language.
Calls for comments from the Intan public relations officer or its director Datuk Dr Muhamad Hamzah went unanswered.
This one is even more stupid, attacked a blogpot site of a Toaist temple.
GEORGE TOWN: The blog of a 120-year-old Taoist temple here has become a victim of a cyber attack by a person claiming to be an Indonesian hacker.
The hacking of the Poh Hock Seah Temple’s blog, pohhockseah.blogspot.com, was believed to have been done even before the cyber attack on the National Institute of Public Administration’s (Intan) website, also believed to be by Indonesians.
Poh Hock Seah president Datuk Lim Chooi Beng said the temple committee came to know about the cyber attack on Sunday when the hacker altered their webmaster’s password and answered to their “secret questions”.
“The site was also violated with profanities and the hacker threatened to go after the accounts of all Malaysians,” he told a press conference at the temple on Armenian Street here yesterday after announcing the grand Tua Pek Kong (God of Prosperity) birthday celebration to be held from Sept 30 to Oct 2 in conjunction with the temple’s 120th anniversary.
