Let’s Learn Judo From Putin

Mr Vladimir Putin, Russia’s former president, has published a DVD to teach people Judo.

One of Putin’s favorite sports is the martial art of judo. Putin began training in sambo (a martial art that originated in the Soviet Union) at the age of 14, before switching to judo, which he continues to practice today. Putin won competitions in his hometown of Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), including the senior championship of Leningrad. He is the President of the Yawara Dojo, the same Saint Petersburg dojo he practiced at when young. Putin co-authored a book on his favorite sport, published in Russian as Judo with Vladimir Putin and in English under the title Judo: History, Theory, Practice.

Though he is not the first world leader to practice judo, Putin is the first leader to move forward into the advanced levels. Currently, Putin is a red/white belt (6th dan) and is best known for his Harai Goshi (sweeping hip throw). Vladimir Putin earned Master of Sports (Soviet and Russian sport title) in Judo in 1975 and in Sambo in 1973. After a state visit to Japan, Putin was invited to the Kodokan Institute where he showed the students and Japanese officials different judo techniques.

The Horny Police Officer

So, the 999 hotline is actually his “sexline”……

A police officer is facing jail after he admitting having sex with a woman he first met after attending a 999 call.

PC Gary Bayldon, 48, met up with Donna Cacutt for love making sessions while he was on duty and supposed to be working late shifts.

Kingston Crown Court heard how the officer, who was based on the Isle of Wight, regularly met up with Miss Cacutt to have sex between August 2003 and August 2004 when he was supposed to be working on late shifts.

He also admitted to visiting the same woman, who he first met attending a 999 call, and engaging in sexual activity with her whilst on late shifts between September 2004 and January 2005.

Einhoven Encourages Prostitutes To Leave Their Trade By Giving “Street Miles”

To me, this kind of government is truefully care for it’s people, regardless their social status, their occupations.

The city of Eindhoven is giving out credits, dubbed “street miles”, in return for good behaviour.

The points can then be exchanged for free designer clothes or furniture, provided the prostitutes take up an offer by the city council to pursue a career change and a safer lifestyle.

Teacher In The Day, Prostitute At Night

This is an interesting case. It happens in New Zealand, a new, 30-year-old, primary school teacher is moonlighting as a prostitute. Prostitution is legal in New Zealand. The principal was alerted by a parent.

The teacher has apparently defended her situation to her principal, saying that what she did in her own time was of no concern to him, that it was a private matter, and that prostitution was now lawful and legitimate work. She told him her moonlighting job was not affecting her performance as a teacher.

She apparently told the principal he had no right to be the “moral police”.

Read the following links for more details. It will be interesting to know how they are going to resolve the situation, in a win-win way. And, I wonder how that parent came to know about the teacher’s part-time job? By being her customer? Muahahahaha. But, I do agree with the teacher that the principal had no right to be the “moral police”.

Miss Nepal Contest Postponed

For the sixth time in a year. Reason?

The Maoists’ most senior woman, Pampha Bhusal, told the BBC the contest discriminated against certain ethnic groups and against shorter and darker women, and that it demeaned women by using them to advertise toothpaste and shampoo.
