I chanced upon a blog which belong to a local girl in Singapore. The contents is OK, but what interested me is this

Wow, she is brave! She left her personal particular on her personal blog, and she is selling pirated software and DVD now! Pirated Microsoft Office 2007 for $10? Movie DVDs for $3? I don’t condemn people doing bad things. But I will laugh at people doing bad things in a stupid way.

And you see what’s there as well? Nuffnang’s advertisement! I didn’t see advertisement from any other Nuffnang’s local rivals, so I guess she could be a Nuffnang Glitteratti member? I wonder does Nuffnang has any code of conduct for their member, publisher to follow? If I am Nuffnang, for sure I don’t want my publisher to be involved in any illegal activities, like selling pirated software, DVD.

STOMPer Vassili sent in these pictures of Malaysian policemen who inconsiderately parked their patrol car on a walkway and blocked the way of passers-by, even though there seemed to be no emergency.

In his email dated 24 July, Vassili says:

“I saw this Malaysian patrol car in Kuala Lumpur parked on a public walkway near a traffic junction.

“The cop inside the car was apparently waiting for his partner for a good 15 minutes at least.

“It didn’t seem as if there was any kind of emergency, but even if there was one, isn’t there a better place to park?

“The patrol car was really a nuisance as it blocked the people’s way.

“When the other officer returned to his car, they actually reversed against the flow of traffic to get back onto the road.

“How was that protecting the public?”

There is a pig which was trapped somewhere during Sichuan earthquake on 12th May. 30 over days after that, it was found and rescued by the people. I think many of you should have heard the pussy-fights between the 2 famous (infamous) female Singaporean bloggers, Xiaxue and Dawn Yang already. I didn’t follow the story, but I thought it was quite sometimes ago. It only became HOT again because one of the national newspaper (couldn’t find something more worthwhile to report) made a full page (or is it half page? never read) coverage on it. And it became national level.

So, when I was browsing through EDMW (there are lots of DY haters and XX haters over there), I saw THIS thread. Then I was directed to the following site:

The name of the blog is funny, XXvsDY. Does it mean “Xiaxue vs Dawn Yang”? Anyway, doesn’t matter. The author reported that, based on researches from users of Cozycot, many of the reviews on movies in DY’s star blog are plagiarized from other places.
