Petrol price increases from RM1.92 to RM2.70 per littre, 40%, diesel price increases from RM1.58 to RM2.58 60%, electricity rates for home users increases 18%, and for business users increases 26%.

I can foresee that very soon, public transports costs will increase, food costs will increase even more than now, business operating costs will increase. Basically, living cost will increase, by quite a lot.

A few hundreds dollars of road tax rebate (or angpow) doesn’t help much, though it is still better than nothing. Instead of waiting for helps from government, authority, society, I would rather people start picking up more skills, ways, concepts to earn more money, increase their incomes. There is no point “cry father cry mother”, no point protesting or boycotting. We all see that it is coming, and it is coming faster than we think.

This guy really looks like Jay Chow. The face is exactly the same, except that he is bald head, and he got a much humble face.

I wonder how many of you guys out there are IKEA Swedish meatball lovers. I personally love IKEA Swedis meatballs a lot. They are delicious. We can eat the meatballs alone, or we can have them together with other main dishes. They tastes especially great together with the the gravy and lingonberry preserves.

I have a question here. I know that IKEA do not provide take-away service. However, anyone try buying the meatballs from counter then keeping them in your own container or tupperware and bringing home before? Or bringing container straight to the counter, requesting the food to be served inside it? Sometimes, I may want to bring the meatballs home for family members, or even myself.

I found the recipe of IKEA Swedish meatballs from this website:

Ingredients
* 1 small onion, finely chopped
* 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
* 2/3 lb lean ground beef
* 1/3 lb ground lean pork
* 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
* 1 cup milk
* 1 egg, lightly beaten
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon black pepper
* 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
* 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for frying)
* 1 (10 ounce) can beef gravy
* 1/2 cup 10% cream

1. Saute onions in first tablespoon of oil until translucent. Set aside and let cool.

2. Combine breadcrumbs and milk, let soak for 10 minutes.

3. In a large bowl, combine onions, breadcrumbs, milk egg, meat and seasonings. Mix thoroughly. Form tablespoon of the meat mixture into balls.

4. Over medium heat, fry meatballs in second tablespoon of oil until brown on all sides.

5. In a small saucepan, combine gravy and cream; heat through but do not boil.

6. Serve meatballs with gravy, boiled potatoes and lingonberry preserves.

I myself talked about it, Hongkiat talked about it and how unprofessional the ISP is, and then DK’s latest entry about the loopholes being blocked. But then, I happened to found another “hole”……

I was reading forwarded mails from friends. Then I clicked on a link without much thinking and it led me to a clip on Youporn. I was surprised. I thought Youporn and RedTube are blocked already? No more loophole? Then I realized, I was on my MaxMobile network instead of my home SingNet ADSL network. I did a test by switching over to SingNet ADSL network. Dah dah, still BLOCKED!
