Carla Bruni’s Nude Portrait Up For Sale

Again.

Carla Bruni

A NUDE photo of French First Lady Carla Bruni is expected to start a bidding war when it goes to auction in Berlin next week.

The photo was taken by US photographer Pamela Hanson and only 10 numbered copies exist.

It was taken in 1994 when Ms Bruni was 26 and at the height of her modelling career. At the time, she was dating Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

The image, titled Carla Bruni In Bed, is 16ft by 24ft and is being sold through Villa Grisebach Auction House with a reserve price of around $6000. It is less revealing than the full-frontal photo which sold for €60,000 last year.

Facial Yoga

Seems like facial yoga is the IN thing right now. Are you interested?

A wrinkled face is not a good look but as the years catch up with you, short of going under the knife there’s no way to avoid it.

Or at least there wasn’t, until a new set of facial exercises called face yoga promised to turn back the clock, returning your face to its smooth, youthful prime, without a scalpel in sight.

Face yoga has already won devotees among the forever-young-looking celebrity crowd, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston said to be big fans. It’s the brainchild of New York yoga teacher Annelise Hagen, who teaches it at the swanky New York Health & Racquet Club.

World’s Most Ligitious Man Sues Guiness Book Of Records

I assume that one has to pay to sue someone, something. He must be quite rich.

A man who keeps suing people is suing the Guinness Book of World Records for saying that he’s sued the most people ever.

Jonathan Lee Riches, who is currently incarcerated in the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, is thought to have filed over 4,000 lawsuits around the world against various people, entities, objects and concepts.

In a boldly ironic move, he has now filed a lawsuit against the Guinness Book of World Records, hoping to get an injunction against them naming him as the world’s most litigious man in their 2010 edition. ‘The Guinness Book of World Records have no right to publish my work, my legal masterpieces,’ he says in the legal filing, according to The Spokesman-Review.

He is also unhappy about the nicknames they apparently plan to ascribe to him, including ‘Sue-per-man’, ‘the duke of lawsuits’ and ‘Johnny Sue-nami’.

China Man Ignores Girlfriend Who Is On Her Knees Begging For Reconciliation

These photos are taken from PRC forums. A netizen, “castmylife”, saw them around the area of his/her school, Xian International Studies University (西安外国语大学). It was broad daylight. The lady was on her knees begging for the man’s forgive/reconciliation. However, the man seemed unmoved by the girl’s action. And he left without saying anything. The pair was seen arguing initially and the girl kept apologizing to the man.

Telling Wife She’s Not Pretty Considered Emotional Violence Offence?

What if the husband is just telling truth? Then are husbands protected in any way? How about wives calling husbands “having short penis”, “lousy on bed”, “useless”, “losers”? Can they be sued as well?

KOTA KINABALU: A husband telling his wife that she is no longer pretty in an attempt to humiliate her can be classified as an emotional violence offence if amendments are made to the Domestic Violence Act (DVA)1994.

The plan is to amend the DVA for the inclusion of a clause on emotional violence against women.

Currently, they are only protected only against physical abuse, Women’s Development Department director-general Datuk Dr Noorul Ainur Mohd Nur said.

She said on Wednesday that the aim for proposing the amendment was to safeguard women both physically and emotionally.

Dr Noorul said emotional violence was a form of abuse that would deeply scar a woman and lower their self-esteem, dignity and self-confidence.

“It could be a case where her husband tells his wife she is ugly or humiliates her until she feels emotionally pressured,” she told reporters at the end of a seminar on how to curb violence against women at Wisma Wanita here.

Singapore Confirms 1st H1N1 Case

Finally, it is here. (Seems like the site hangs now, har to get in)

SINGAPORE: Singapore has confirmed its first case of Influenza A (H1N1).

The patient is currently being treated at the Communicable Disease Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and is in stable condition.

The patient is a 22-year-old Singaporean woman who was in New York from May 14-24.

She arrived back in Singapore from New York on SQ25 on 26 May at 6.30am.

She began to develop a cough while onboard.

She passed the thermal scanner uneventfully as she did not have fever then.

Later in the morning, she consulted a GP who decided to send her to TTSH via a 993 ambulance, given her travel history.

She was immediately admitted for testing. Laboratory confirmation of her infection was made by midnight of 26 May.

The patient has been vigilant in monitoring her own condition and had sought immediate medical attention once she realized that she was unwell.

Her attending GP, through his quick response in activating the 993 ambulance for the patient, had also helped to minimize the spread of infection from this case.

The Health Ministry says it has initiated contact tracing of her close contacts. They will be quarantined and provided with antiviral prophylaxis.

Passengers who had travelled in the same flight and were seated in rows 52 to 58 are urged to call the hotline at 1800-333 9999 to enable the MOH to check on their health condition.

The MOH adds that all medical practitioners and healthcare institutions should continue to be vigilant to suspect cases.

Singapore will continue with temperature screening for passengers entering Singapore at all checkpoints (land, sea and air).

All passengers passing through or entering Singapore are given Health Alert Notices on board their flights, advising them to monitor their own health if they have been to affected areas and to seek medical attention immediately if they are not well.

German Blasts Off Own Penis

What an idiot he is.

A WANNABE gangster blew his own manhood to smithereens when his gun accidentally went off in his pocket.

Dim-witted Lukas Neuhardt, 27, forgot to put the safety catch on when he stuffed the weapon into his trousers to impress pals in Saarbruecken, Germany.

He told paramedics that a masked mugger had blasted him in the crotch during a bungled robbery.

But police found a HOLE in his statement when they saw the gunshot had miraculously left his trousers intact.

A police source said: “Instead there was a charred hole in his pocket so either it was the shot of the century or he did it himself.”

Now – after surgeons stitched his manhood back together – he’s facing up to three years in jail for breaching Germany’s tough new anti gun laws.
