It is a charity show held by China CCTV to raise fund for the Sichuan Earthquake victims. It has been such a long time since Faye Wong last public performance. She had turned down many invitation offered to come back on to stage. However this time, she is kind enough to make another public appearance in this charity show. Singing together with her were 杨乃文 from Taiwan, 陈奕迅 from Hong Kong, and 阿牛陈庆祥 from Malaysia.

Cash from nude Carla Bruni picture rejected by Cambodian hospital

I have been to this Kantha Bopha Children Hospital and listened to this Dr Beat Richner’s cello performance. He called it Beatocello. He is a funny guy, full of passions and loves for the children and the poor in Cambodia. I admire him a lot. It is not a surprise for me that he refused the cash because he is also someone with principles. He does what he thinks is right.

Feb 7, 2008 Singapore
This is an interesting activity on OMY.sg.
All we need to do is just fill in the particular (real or fake one both can lah, who cares?), play the animation to hit that big gong. Every time we hit, the sponsor SongHe (松鹤) will donate 50g of rice to many of those old folks who are staying alone. The organizer hopes that they can help to raise 30000 hits, which is 1500jg of rice. This will probably help to raise 3 months of free rice supply for the old folks.
So guys, just hit it!
