Malaysia Petrol Price to Cost RM2.70 from Midnight Onwards

Petrol price increases from RM1.92 to RM2.70 per littre, 40%, diesel price increases from RM1.58 to RM2.58 60%, electricity rates for home users increases 18%, and for business users increases 26%.
I can foresee that very soon, public transports costs will increase, food costs will increase even more than now, business operating costs will increase. Basically, living cost will increase, by quite a lot.
A few hundreds dollars of road tax rebate (or angpow) doesn’t help much, though it is still better than nothing. Instead of waiting for helps from government, authority, society, I would rather people start picking up more skills, ways, concepts to earn more money, increase their incomes. There is no point “cry father cry mother”, no point protesting or boycotting. We all see that it is coming, and it is coming faster than we think.
