Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony Appearance Order, Singapore at 189th

This time, China want to make the opening ceremony special, so the order of countries entering the stadium will be special as well (They have already made 5 mascots instead of the usual 1, this is special enough). Beijing Olympic will not follow the traditional alphabetical order (a, b, c, d, …), but stroke count with the Simplified Chinese characters. For example, Singapore in Simplified Chinese characters is “新加坡”, and “新” is 13 strokes, while Malaysia in Simplified Chinese characters is “马来西亚”, “马” got 3 strokes. So Malaysia will be the very very first few countries to enter while Singapore will be quite at the back. You can visit HERE to know more about the opening ceremony.
As for the order of appearance, traditionally, Greece will be the 1st to enter while the host (China) will be the last. Then, according to THIS website, Guinea is 2nd, Guinea-Bissau (where the hell in the world is this country?) is 3rd, the rest of the top 10 is Turkey, Turkmenistan, Yemen, Maldives, Malta, Madagascar and MALAYSIA. Malaysia just makes it to the top 10, kekeke. I wonder how about the medal tally? For the rest of the countries, Japan 22nd, Canada 61st, Great Britain 116th, France 124th, Russia 138th, USA 140th, SINGAPORE 189th. Australia is 203rd. Zambia is the last at 204th before the host China.

Singaporeans Bought Fake US Degree Certificates?

US Federal government has bursted a Spokane-based fake diploma mill. A news portal, Spokesman-Review, through unknown source, managed to get the list of all the “clients” who had purchased fake degree certificates from the diploma mill. The list was posted on their website. There are over 9000 names on the list. The list is completed with origin countries of the clients and the kind of degree that they purchased.
And guess what? I saw SINGAPORE in the list! There are about 41 names listed in the list. Some of the names look Chinese, while some look Eurasian. The kind of certificates purchased by them include Bachelor degree, Master degree, and PhD. None of the name look familiar to me so I guess they are not my friends, keke.
Quick go there take a look, see if your friends’ name are in the list.
By the way, I saw about 51 names from Malaysia as well. So, Singapore and Malaysia contribute to 1% of the sales of the diploma mill.

Goondoo Complains About Malaysia Police Force In STOMP?

STOMPer Vassili sent in these pictures of Malaysian policemen who inconsiderately parked their patrol car on a walkway and blocked the way of passers-by, even though there seemed to be no emergency.
In his email dated 24 July, Vassili says:
“I saw this Malaysian patrol car in Kuala Lumpur parked on a public walkway near a traffic junction.
“The cop inside the car was apparently waiting for his partner for a good 15 minutes at least.
“It didn’t seem as if there was any kind of emergency, but even if there was one, isn’t there a better place to park?
“The patrol car was really a nuisance as it blocked the people’s way.
“When the other officer returned to his car, they actually reversed against the flow of traffic to get back onto the road.
“How was that protecting the public?”

Man Sneaked Into JB Foon Yew High School With Hammer, Spanner, Hurt 1 Student And 1 Female Teacher

It is reported in Malaysia local Chinese newspaper that a man has sneaked into Foon Yew High School during school day, gone into 1 classroom and hurt 1 male student and 1 female teacher. The guys is 20 years old. It is believed that he did so to “give the male student a lesson” because the male student has bullied his younger brother. The guy is eventually seized and sent to police.
Wow, 1st time in Foon Yew High School I think.
