It’s Been 4 Months, Where Is My Advertlets Cheque?

I don’t like to post this kind of article because I believe this kind of issue should be dealt with personally, privately. However, it is just too bad that there is no reply till today to my latest request made middle of last week. So here comes this post.

I have made my 1st cashed out from Advertlets on 3rd March. Understand Advertlets’s TOC that cash-out waiting time is about 30 to 45 days, counting from end of the month that we cashed out, I waited patiently.

Please note that payments are processed 30-45 days from the end of the month which you cashed out.

Until 29th May, which was close to 2 months to end of March, the status was still “Processing”. I sended my 1st email to Josh Lim checking if there is any problem over there. No reply from him, but few days or 1 week later, the status changed to “sent”. Wow, the cheque was sent! I was happy so I waited again.

1st week of June, until today, 2nd July, the status is still “sent” and I see no sight of letter from Advertlets. Where is the cheque, the letter now? In Malaysia? Singapore? Stuck at the border? Or it was never sent out at all? I know Pos Malaysia is terrible, but I doubt it would take them close to a month to deliver a letter from Malaysia to Singapore. I made another request middle of last week, this time using Advertlets Contact page. Till today, no reply.

He said the move was to ease the burden on the lower income group after the recent price rise in petroleum and food items.

The 50% discount is applicable for those who receive the summons letters on the spot and pay them before or on the last day of the 30-day deadline.

“Offenders who have yet to pay their summons and have not received letters summoning them to court are eligible for a 30% discount. Those who have received the court summons are not eligible for any discount,” he told reporters at the Traffic Police Headquarters, Bukit Aman, on Monday.

Traffic offenders receiving their summons via the post are eligible for a 30% discount regardless of when it was issued.

The authority is so caring of the citizens. I am so touched. By the way, is it cheaper if people pay by rasuah or duit kopi?

Whores in Malaysia Now Go Mobile

If you think “mobile” means they arrange appointment through phone calls and attend appointments at designated hotels, then you are outdated.

According to reports from The Star, lorry drivers in Malaysia now employ social escorts to “keep them company” on the road. The deal goes like this: driver pays the girl few hundreds RM, then the girl will accompany him for a return trip from Kemaman in Terengganu to any place outsite of the east coast of Malaysia. Usually the journey takes 3 days 2 nights. The charges depends on the “services” provided by the girls. On top of that, driver will pay for the girl’s meals during the journey, plus RM50 top-up for her pre-paid card. Girls in this trade think that the chances of getting caught (by religious authority) staying in lorry cabin is much lesser than in hotel.

“We have to do all sorts of things such as accompanying them during meals and chatting with them throughout the journey,” she said.

Of course it is not as simple as “accompanying them and chatting with them” lah. I wonder how many rounds of sex are allowed during the journey? Is there a limit? Will there be hanky-panky stuffs when the drivers are driving? Let’s say RM500 for 3 days 2 nights and only 3 rounds allowed, you think worth it?

By the way, will this becomes a contributing factors for Malaysia’s high accident rate in the future? You know, it is extremely dangerous when the driver is “multi-tasking”…

Malaysia Ex-DPM Anwar Ibrahim Accused of Sodomy, Again

Yes yes yes, Anwar Ibrahim of PKR, Pakatan Rakyat is accused of sodomy again. This time the reported was filed by Saiful Bahari, one of Anwar’s aides.

“Yes, we have received a police report from an aide of Anwar Ibrahim that he was sodomised. But no, we will not arrest Anwar at the moment,” said deputy police chief Ismail Omar.

No matter how bad the current relationship between UMNO and Dr Mahathir is, seems like the guys there definitely have picked up some tricks from their former party leader.

Some people in forums actually related this case to the famous Hong Kong movie, 无间道, or the Hollywood version, The Departed. This is interesting. So who is 陈永仁? Who is 刘建明?
