There Was Pepsi During The Ancient 3 Kingdoms Time?
Mar 27, 2008 Around the Word, Celebrities, Fun, Gossips, Movie, Stupid Stuffs
Look at the photo:

See that Pepsi? How careless the crew is?
Actually this is a photo after PS by some PRC guys. They were making fun with the photos and posters from Andy Lau’s latest movie, <<Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon>>. Adding in some funny dialog, they make it into a small little stupid story about a few ancient warriors started a fight over a bottle of Pepsi…… See HERE for the complete story.

Golden Village to increase ticket price by 50 cents
Posted: 26 March 2008 1944 hrs
SINGAPORE: Starting on Thursday, there will be a 50 cents increase for movie tickets at Golden Village cinemas.
Golden Village Multiplex has announced that it will revise its ticket prices at its nine outlets.
The organisation said the price increase is a result of the current market situation and rising costs.
However, Gold Class and Cinema Europa ticket prices, movie promotional packages and rates with banks, students and other promotional partners will remain unchanged.
Other organisations like Cathay Cineplex and Eng Wah Organisation have no plans to increase ticket prices.

Jack Neo Said Stephen Chow’s CJ7 Copied His Ideas
Feb 19, 2008 Celebrities, Gossips, Stupid Stuffs
Not I anyhow said one OK, it is on OMy now, the interview, you can read it here (in Chinese):
http://www.omy.sg/showbiz/enews/200802/20080219_011_jackneo.html
The 5 points he pointed out to support his claim that <<CJ7>> copied his ideas are:
1. Kid from poor family wore shoes that were worn out. In <<CJ7>>, Stephen had to sew and patch the shoes for his son, while in his <<跑吧! 孩子>>, the shoes the main character wore were also sewn and patched.
1. 穷孩子穿破鞋子:《长江》中的父亲(周星驰)为儿子缝补鞋子,凸显家庭环境贫困;《跑吧!孩子》为突出主角家境,男主角李创锐脚下的鞋子也是缝缝补补;
2. Kid brought result book to hospital. <<I Not Stupid>> got this part also.
2. 拿成绩单到医院:《长江》 中的儿子拿着成绩单到医院找父亲,证明自己能考到好成绩;《小孩不笨》中的主角也是拿着成绩单到医院… …
3. Kid was punished to stand in school. <<跑吧!孩子>> had the same part.
3. 学校罚站:小主角因为鞋子太破旧学校罚站,《跑吧!孩子》中也有罚站镜头;
4. Fatal accident. Stephen Chow died in accident in <<CJ7>>, while <<I Not Stupid>>, the father also died in accident.
4. 父亲出意外:父亲周星驰在《长江七号》因工业意外跌死,《小孩不笨2》中黄奕良也是意外身亡;
5. Alien sacrificed itself to save the owner. In one of his movie <<再见阳光>>, the same idea was used.
5. 外星人(狗)拼死救主:《长江七号》里的”外星狗”为救小主人元气耗尽,智强声言,他有一部电视电影《再见阳光》,也有一个”外星人拯救人类,却牺牲自己”的桥段!
He said all these to defense his new movie, <<Ah Long Pte Ltd>>, since the reviews have been very very bad.
He also said that, he is confident that <<Ah Long Pte Ltd>> can beat <<CJ7>> in turnover locally. And he can proudly claim that he has beaten Stephen Chow when he ventures into China.
I have to apologize that my translation is bad, but I think the meaning is there……
Do you agree with him? I found all those points very lame…
