Edison leaves HK after police investigations

A week after apologising for his role in the celebrity sex-photos scandal, Edison Chen Koon-hei left Hong Kong yesterday as police ended their inquiries with him.

A statement from his lawyer said Chen wished to inform members of the media that he had given full and helpful co-operation to the police in the past few days since returning to the city to explain his role in the controversy.

“The Hong Kong police have informed Mr Chen, through his legal counsel, that the request from the police for Mr Chen’s assistance has concluded … and that no further assistance is required of him in the immediate future,” the statement added.

There had been media speculation that Chen would face a criminal investigation for his role in the scandal, and suggestions that the case involved more than pictures being stolen from his computer.

Last night, police said they had obtained the information they needed at this stage. “Police need time to follow up the information. The case is still being investigated,” a police spokesman said.

Chen’s management company confirmed he had left Hong Kong but declined to reveal his whereabouts.

The beleaguered star returned from the United States last Thursday, weeks after the scandal broke. He admitted he had taken the pictures of female celebrities engaging in sex acts with him that had been circulated on the internet around the world.

He apologised to Hongkongers and the women involved and announced he would quit the local entertainment scene indefinitely.

He has not spoken in public since then and had been staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Central and giving statements at police headquarters in Wan Chai, accompanied by privately hired and police bodyguards.

Lawyer and lawmaker James To Kun-sun said Chen was “cleared from the case for the moment only”.

“The police state he is now a witness in the case, based on the information they have so far. It does not mean 100 per cent that he is totally free. And Chen may be required to come back to Hong Kong for more investigations or to testify in court later,” Mr To said.

Two men linked to the scandal are still on bail. Kwok Chun-wai, a 24-year-old clerk, is alleged to have posted two internet hyperlinks to a website from which people could download 100 explicit photographs.

Sze Ho-chun, 23, a computer technician, is accused of dishonestly accessing a computer. The prosecution has asked for more time as police work on the case.

Edison Sex Photos Scandals - Edison Taken Instruction To Take Sex Photos?

Seems like this saga is not over yet, so many juicy news revealed by Hongkong media 1 by 1 everyday. Just some follow up that I read today:

1. Edison taken instruction to take sex photos (in Chinese)
Then they can use the photos to threaten the girls involved to make decisions (like taking part in certain movies, shows, ect) that will benefit that party. Serious or not? This is really like drama loh. If this is real, then who is that OTHER PARTY that giving out instruction? This is, until now, the most “explosive” news since Edison came back to Hongkong.

2. Patrick Tse supports Nicholas to dump Cecilia (in Chinese)
During the time when the photos just surfaced in internet, I remember Patrick was still very supportive to Cecilia Cheung, and protective also. He even said that the photos must be fake one, the people created the photos will 不得好死 or something like that. Then after more and more photos surfaced, and it was confirmed that all are real, he just kept quiet. His ex-wife also, kept quiet. But of course lah, what else to say? Openly, if really have to talk, must say supportive words. But to celebrities family like them, it is really 丢家 that such thing happened. Some more, can see that he emphasize a lots on FACE. So, good luck to Cecilia.

3. Edison may get sued for compensation (in Chinese)
Not just the victims, but other sponsors or advertisers who had previously signed contract with his agency. I think they should do that. The whole incident definitely destroyed their images and affected their income. But, if the photos never leaked out, then there will be no effect. So they should sue the party that spread the photos on the internet 1st or Edison?

How To Be NT$100 Millions Richer?

How? If you are able to show the public the REAL sex photo featuring Edison Chen and Jolin Tsai. It is said that there are more girls involved in this saga, and 1 is said to be a Taiwanese female singer. Almost immediately, people are making guesses that that could be Jolin Tsai or Elva Hsiao. Sicked of clarifying after clarifying, making statements after statements, Jolin’s agency yesterday released an official statement, saying that all the rumours circulated are all baseless and fake, and if anyone can produce a sex photo featuring Edison together with Jolin Tsai, and certified by the court that it is a real one, the company is willing to reward the person with NT$100 millions. At the same time, Elva Hsiao’s agency also made similar statement, but the money will be donated to charity should there be any real photo produced.

So, for the sake of charity, or yourself, if you are holding the photos now, PLEASE DO IT!

陈冠希的鸟很屌, 钟欣桐 (阿娇) 玩什么鸟

Taiwanese capitalised on Edison Chen sex photos scandals to publicize Edison’s last Hongkong movie. Look at the movie poster below. It is the Taiwanese version of poster of the movie, Trivial Matters, or in Chinese, 破事儿, which Edison took part before his sex photos scandals surfaced, and coincidently, Gillian Chung was one of the crew. It is such a cheap tricks by the Taiwanese. They just capitalize on that scandals, and put it into lines so blatantly. It is written there: 陈冠希的鸟很屌, 钟欣桐 (阿娇) 玩什么鸟. Translate: Edison Chen’s bird is very 屌 (seriously I don’t know how to translate this, any suggestion?), what bird is Gillian Chung playing? Cheapskate right?

You Know Why We Cannot Copy, Spread, Publish Edison Chen’s Sex Photos?

Because Edison owns the copyright! His lawyer even issued statement to Hongkong media to warn them about this. He really wants to make this issue into a business is it? Like Paris Hilton?

Then, all the girls involved how? Are they going to be paid? Or they were already paid, in another form? Muahahahaha……

There Are More Female Artists Who Had Taken Sex Photos With Edison?

Hongkong police found out from Edison’s computers that, there is another batch of sex photos. There are more than a thousand new photos found and at least 3 more girls were involved. Fortunately, this batch of photos is not leaked.

I am really curious, total there are how many female artists who were sexually attached with Edison before? How many are there? What really made that guy so successful, in hooking up celebrities? What tricked he used?

He is such a lucky bastard!
