Lock My Bike? I Lock Your Door Then!
Oct 16, 2008 Funny News, Singapore, Stupid Stuffs
Really, serve him right for the fine. From what he told in the interview, I feel that this guy is kind of selfish. His one will not block people. But if he can park there, then everyone can park there, and then many bikes will block pedestrians for sure!

SBS Transit Ticket Inspector Forced Passenger To Alight In The Middle Of Expressway
Oct 14, 2008 Gossips, Singapore, Stupid Stuffs
This is a very annoying case. Seems like their heads’ re growing bigger and bigger. What’s the purpose of making underpaid passenger alight in the middle of expressway? To show their power? (Come on, if they guy got power, he would have sitting in air-conditioned office shaking legs already……) What can we passenger do on the spot if such lousy, unprofessional thing happens to us?

Media Block Out On Yishun MRT Incident?
Oct 12, 2008 Gossips, Singapore, Stupid Stuffs
I flipped through Straits Times just now, want to read more about the incident happened at Yishun MRT yesterday afternoon around 12PM. To my surprise, they never cover anything regarding this incident. NOTHING AT ALL. This is strange.
Then I went to Channel News Asia. I was disappointed at the fact that I could find anything there. I checked yesterday’s Wanbao and SinMing cover pager online, it is not about that as well. Not just that, AsiaOne also covered NONE. I checked Yahoo Singapore, also covered nothing about it. There is nothing on Omy.sg as well. Normally, be it suicide or not, this is considered a Dua Daiji in Singapore isn’t it? For the last few incidents, the local press could cover and follow up for a few days. But what about this time?
The only source that I read from a “media” is THIS, and THIS. Other than that, all other information is from local forums, blogs.
I can’t help smelling something fishy. Is it a media block out? If it is, I think it is a very successful one. If I didn’t visit blogs, Ping.sg and forums last night, I didn’t even know that something happened at Yishun MRT.
The sources that I got the info:
Something happened at Yishun MRT is it? - EDMW, the guys there are fast, and resourceful
Yishun MRT this morning - man jumped - Sammyboy
A eye witness’ blog - I suggest you guys copy her words out and paste them on notepad to read. There are just so freaking small to read!
Another eye witness’ input - In Mandarin
Will this post get myself into trouble?
Edited: another eye witness’ blog entry, very detailed. He too has the same question as I have.

Our Buses Can Handle Wheelchair, But The Routes Don’t Allow
Oct 3, 2008 Singapore, Stupid Stuffs
So, can I say the WAB buses are just for show, wayang only? Just a number on company homepage and yearly financial report to “look good” only? If those routes are not suitable for wheelchair, why don’t allocate normal/non-WAB buses to those routes and WAB buses to those suitable? At least, you minimize confusion.
